Wuxi Kaifei Precise Machinery Co., Ltd was founded in 1985, specialized in design and production of investment castings. In the nearly past 30 years, Wuxi Kaifei has been formed to be a large scale manufacture company producing investment castings, turbine and gas turbine blades. It has obtained ISO9001:2000 quality system certification.

The plant of Kaifei is located in the Chunxiang Industrial Zone, adjacent to the East-Wuxi exit of the Shanghai-Nanjing freeway, in Dongting, Wuxi city. It occupies a land of 15,000 square meters with 16,800 square meters floor area. It has full set of precision casting equipment, 3 sets of axis machining center，2 sets of trilinear coordinates measuring instrument，30 sets of large CNC processing equipment.

Kaifei perfected the advanced investment casting process with the wax with medium melt-point, colloidal silica binder and high frequency furnace. Introduced German Spectro spectrum analyzer for pre-furnace material analysis, equipped with X-ray, magnetic powder, ultrasonic flaw detector, hardness tester, tensile, impact testing machine, metallographic display microcomputer and high temperature creep testing machine. Reliable equipment, reasonable technology, and selected raw materials provide a guarantee for the production of high-standard and high-quality precision castings.

Wuxi Kaifei undertakes the customized needs of well-known electrical companies domestic and overseas, providing all kinds of investment casting guide blades for large capacity, high parameter thermal turbine and nuclear turbine. Especially investment casting overall structure hollow guide blade, with good non-welding integrity, suitable for all kinds of high complexity, high precision profile. It has been widely used in the final stage guide blades of various large steam turbines, and the steam passage of the blade can reach 72 inches.

After decades of development, Kaifei has a team of technicians with rich blade manufacturing experience. There are currently 27 professional and technical personnel, including 5 senior engineers and 10 engineers. Based on this, we have established a complete and reliable quality assurance system and quality inspection system. Through the close cooperation of all links, the quality of the steam turbine (gas turbine) blades produced by Kaifei has won unanimous praise from customers both domestic and international. Kaifei has been selected as the "Excellent Supplier" of DEC and a qualified supplier of Toshiba for many years.

Development History

In March 1985, kaifei predecessor (Hongguang Machinery) was founded;
June 1989, turbocharger, impeller trial production success;
In July 1992, cooperated with Wuxi Blade Factory to process turbine blades;
January 2003, Through precision casting silicon sol technology, products are exported to Europe and the United States. Wuxi Kaifei became the supplier of CCJEC, and took the lead in the machining practice of CNC blade profile.
In August 2004, Wuxi kaifei became the blade supplier of DEC;
In May 2006, Wuxi kaifei successfully developed hollow blades, overcome many technical problems of DEC, and awarded as the excellent supplier of DEC;
In July 2011, Wuxi kaifei became the blade supplier of Toshiba and overcame many technical difficulties for Toshiba.
In November 2014, CAP1400 final stage 72 "hollow stator blades were delivered in batches;
In June 2018, became the blade supplier of Shanghai Electric;
